DECIDED TO RACE 30+ MASTERS WITH THE CREW. JEREMY, RONSTA, MIKE, RONKO, JERRY, AND ALL THE OTHER LOCAL 30 + DUDES. WE ENDED UP HAVING ABOUT 25 OR SO AT THE START. AS USUAL I WENT OUT HOT AND THEN RONSTA PUNCHED IT AND I HAD HIS WHEEL. AFTER THE BARRIERS I WENT FOR IT AND GOT A GAP AND WENT WITH IT. 3 QUARTERS AROUND THE FIRST LAP I ROLLED MY FREAKING TUBULAR AND WAS PRETTY MUCH OUT IN MY MIND... ROLLED INTO THE PITS AS THE GANG PASSED ME. I TOOK A LOOK AT IT AND DECIDED TO TRY AND ROLL IT BACK ON AND SURE ENOUGH...POP.... I'M BACK IN THE RACE.... I CHASED THE BOYS DOWN. ONE BY ONE I GOT BACK IN. RONSTA AND JEREMY SEEMED TO NOT BE FEELING THAT RAD.... I GOT PATRICK AND NOW I HAD TO GET ONE MORE DUDE....SEAN I THINK HIS NAME IS. WE WORKED TOGETHER FOR A LITTLE AND THEN I TOOK HER UP A NOTCH AND GOT A GAP AND HELD IT TO THE FINISH.

WHITEWATER CX

My bro Jeffer is living in Sydney for the past few months with his wife Jess. They are within 2 weeks of having their first child. Holly shit. I can't believe it. Anyway, they are pretty much livin the epic life. Jeff has been racing road bikes with a few new auzie friends of his. Every week Mike and I get the race reports from him and we send him the race reports from the CX weekend. It's pretty rad. Anyway, thought I would share this pic of my bro and his new boys!

Wash Park was killer. Mt bike style course, good weather, good friends, fire, beer, bells, a perfect cross day in Oct. Ended up 2nd in Cat 3. Motivation for CX has stared.

The Blaster was sick. The weather was perfect and the racing was hot. 1 and 2 lap racers were putting it down. Some of these guys and gals out there haven't ridden a bike much at all this year and they were getting after it. Super rad to see it. Then the 3 and 4 lap guys had at it. I seemed to put a little to much into the parade lap for some but I guess I was just excited. As we came around and headed out for lap 1, Maciej put the gas at full and was followed by Ronsta and Bender. After settling in to the race, Ronsta and Bender were out front being chased by pretty much everyone. After 3 beers and lots of leg cramps, the race was over. Barry hit the dirt only because he had so much power that he spun the wheel on a wet bridge and went down..... and of course, he was catching me. Yeah right!
Abbey won the women's 3 lap race.
Bender took the 4 lap men's title followed by Ronsta in 2nd and JC in 3rd.
